our ministries grow here at First United Methodist Church
we find ourselves in great need of help in these areas:
Committee
Members (Serving on church committees) · Openings on Memorials and Missions
Sunday Hospitality
Ushers (Handing out bulletins,
helping people find their seats, collecting the offering) ·We
have a urgent need for ushers at the 8:00a.m. and 11:00a.m.
services
The commitment for this position is once every 5 weeks and
sometimes at special services if available.
Greeters
(Greeting people at the door as they arrive, helping them
find their way around the church)
The commitment for this position is once every 5 weeks and
sometimes at special services if available.
Library Volunteer ·Help in Library on Sundays on a rotating basis/no
experience necessary (9:05 - 9:30am)
Kitchen ·Clean oven and microwave as needed ·Clean and shine stainless steel
Transportation Ministry ·Sunday morning drivers and dispatchers for people
who need a ride to worship.
(30 to 45 minutes once every 6 to 7 weeks)
Visitation Ministry ·Spend time with a homebound member. Training is
available. (Time varies)
